About the Summit
The International Conference on Public Health in Africa (CPHIA) is a flagship continental convening organized by the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC). Now entering its fourth edition, CPHIA has become the leading platform for public health dialogue, knowledge exchange, and partnership building in Africa.
The 2025 edition, hosted in collaboration with Bio Africa and the Republic of South Africa, will bring together political leaders, policymakers, health practitioners, innovators, scientists, investors, and civil society to reimagine Africa’s health future.
This year’s theme emphasizes the urgent need for self-reliance in strengthening public health systems, ensuring Universal Health Coverage (UHC), and advancing health security across the continent.
