    1. What is ADHN?

    The Africa Digital Health Networks (ADHN) is a pan-African, neutral, and inclusive platform that unites governments, innovators, NGOs, academia, and civil society to accelerate digital health transformation across Africa.

    • Mission: To empower Africa’s digital health communities by fostering communication, collaboration, and coordination in the development and adoption of digital health solutions.

    • Vision: To unite Africa’s digital health communities to share knowledge, build partnerships, and drive innovation and capacity building for sustainable health outcomes.

    • ADHN provides a network of networks that reduces fragmentation, harmonizes strategies, and ensures Africa’s digital health efforts are aligned. It supports:

      • Governments with policy harmonization and technical guidance.

      • Innovators & Startups with visibility, funding pathways, and regulatory support.

      • Development Partners with coordination and local ownership.

      • Academia & Research with policy influence and collaboration.

      • Civil Society & NGOs with representation and advocacy platforms.

    • Between 2025–2028, ADHN will focus on five areas:

      1. Coordination & Convening – Aligning communities and hosting dialogues.

      2. Capacity Building & Knowledge Sharing – Building skills and knowledge hubs.

      3. Advocacy & Policy Influence – Elevating Africa’s voice in policy.

      4. Innovation Ecosystem Support – Connecting innovators to funders and governments.

      5. Equity, Inclusion & Localisation – Ensuring diverse and equitable participation.

    • Membership is open to:

      • Institutions: Governments, NGOs, private sector, academia, development partners.

      • Individuals: Professionals, students, innovators, and digital health enthusiasts.
        ADHN offers both Free Tiers (Community Bronze, Strategic Silver, Strategic Gold) and Paid Tiers (Institutional Gold, Silver, Bronze, Individual Professional)

    • Depending on tier, members gain access to:

      • Voting rights at the AGM and eligibility to chair working groups.

      • Opportunities to co-host or speak at ADHN events.

      • Access to policy dialogues, knowledge resources, and networking forums.

      • Visibility for innovations, research, or organizational contributions.

      • Facilitated introductions to partners, funders, and policymakers.

    • ADHN prioritizes regional, gender, and linguistic representation, ensuring that Anglophone, Francophone, and Lusophone Africa are included. It also actively involves youth, women, and underrepresented groups through dedicated dockets and initiatives

    • ADHN’s governance includes:

      • A General Assembly of members.

      • A Board of Directors and Board Committees.

      • An Executive Secretariat for operations.

      • Technical Working Groups (TWGs) for knowledge creation.

      • An Advisory Council and incubation partners for strategic guidance.

    • You can:

      • Join as a member (free or paid, depending on your profile).

      • Participate in dockets or TWGs aligned to your expertise.
